I just want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Swingdancr for his time and effort into this yearly event. Having worked other car events I know what a HUGE task this is. It seems he was everywhere at this event EXCEPT out enjoying his car.

I also want to give a shout out to Graham County for providing a free sack lunch on Saturday.

Overall it was an excellent event and a fantastic weekend.

Fortunately, since I live so close, I get the opportunity to enjoy these roads most any time I like. For the last 5 or 6 years now, the only time we drive the Dragon is on the way in and on the way out. We come up there to see and visit with our friends that we only get to see once or twice a year.

Josh....I personally want to thank you for taking the time to call me about the master cylinder for Bloo. If you wouldn't have gotten in touch with me, we would have made a wasted trip down to Robbinsville and wasted even more time. The day we planned and came down early to spend on the Gap went to about 10 PM making the necessary repairs so that we could even drive the car for the weekend. I sent the guys we were with across the Gap to Maryville to get the part which made them happy (thanks for the tip!) and by 10 PM, we were bleeding the system by our flashlight and a nifty LED that one of our friends had in his car. It didn't go quite the way we had planned, but thanks to you, we were able to get the part that was actually causing the issue.

I was hoping to run into you, but we didn't do the picture or lunch this year because we were behind with the plans we had made. Thanks for all of your hard work....as usual, it was a fantastic time and we will be there again next year!
