I have an interest in cooking and artisan breads in particular and had read about this bakery on the net and in my newspaper. Our group, the Chesapeake Roadsters, stopped to have lunch/snack here after a ride on the Cherohala and a stop at Tellico Drive-In and a wade in the river. I just want to say to keep it in mind for next year should you have a trip planned across the Cherohala! The sandwiches were amazing as were the pastries. The bakery has a lot of character as it has been decorated in a lot of wood, brick and antique and the breads were to die for! We enjoyed a fairly long stop here and enjoyed the surroundings. If you plan your ride for a Saturday, they have wood fired pizza. Do keep it in mind for next year, you won't be sorry!
