Just made my reservation here, this will be my 3rd year staying at the San-Ran. Friendly staff and clean rooms, cheapest stay at MATG!

Glad to hear that there are still some rooms available for people that haven't gotten lodging yet.

Nope - my former reservation was for the 5th Fri/Sat - THEN later noticed, No - the dates are for the 4th Fri/Sat - cancelled Microtel, they suggested SanRan, called them next. So just two attempts isn't that bad - I remember the first year I decided to drive up in 2006 - I must have called a dozen places before I found availability anywhere.

So let that be a lesson to everyone.

Yep, confusing sometimes. Miatas at the Gap is the last full weekend in July, not the last Saturday in July. It could be the 4th Saturday in July or the fifth. It turns out to be the last Saturday in July except when August 1st falls on a Sunday, as it does this year.

Booked a room at the San-Ran for Thursday night last week after I heard The Dragon was open. We have a cabin rented for Fri. & Sat.
